Dividend Aristocrat and Dow component 3M Co (MMM) will increase its quarterly dividend by 8.0 percent to $0.635 per share in 2013. The industrial company has paid dividends to its shareholders without interruption for almost 100 years.

The next dividend is payable March 12, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2013. The ex-date for this increased dividend is February 13, 2013. At the current stock price 3M's new dividend yield is 2.3%.
