The acquisition of TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (AMTD) by Charles Schwab has been completed, ending the stock market listing of TD Ameritrade. Charles Schwab acquired TD Ameritrade for approximately $22 billion.
TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (AMTD) last raised its quarterly dividend by 3.3 percent to 0.31 per share in 2019. This followed a 42.9 percent dividend hike in 2018 by the brokerage services provider.
The dividend had been raised 9 consecutive years prior to the acquisition with TD Ameritrade paying an annual dividend rate of $671 million.
