Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. (BHR), formerly Ashford Hospitality Trust (AHP), will reinstate its quarterly dividend in 2022 with a 1 cent per share payment. BHR had suspended its quarterly dividend in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This new dividend of $0.01 per share quarterly compares to a $0.16 per share quarterly dividend in 2019 before the pandemic. A four cent per share annual dividend rate yields 0.7% to BHR shareholders at a stock price of $6.00.

The next BHR dividend of $0.01 per share will be paid on April 15, 2022 to shareholders with an ex-dividend date of March 30, 2022.

Braemar Hotels & Resorts, formerly Ashford Hospitality Prime, Inc. invests in high revenue per available room, luxury, upper-upscale and upscale hotels in gateway and resort locations. BHR hotel properties include Marriott Seattle Waterfront, Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile, The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, Bardessono Hotel and Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, Pier House Resort & Spa, and Dorado Beach. BHR suspended its dividend in 2020 and reinstated a quarterly payment in 2022.
