Dividend Aristocrat Colgate-Palmolive (CL) will raise its quarterly dividend by 4.4 percent to 47 cents per share in 2022. This comes after a smaller increase of 2.3 percent to $0.45 per share by CL in 2021, matching the 2020 dividend hike of 2.3 percent. The consumer products company has now raised its dividend 58 consecutive years.

The increased dividend be paid on May 13, 2022 to shareholders of record as of April 21, 2022. On an annualized basis, the new dividend rate is $1.88 versus $1.80 per share previously. This translates into an estimated yield of 2.5% at a stock price of $74.50 for Colgate.
