In a busy week, we recorded 29 dividend hikes from May 6 to May 14. The biggest names announcing a dividend increase were Marriott International MAR 0.00%โ , KLA Corp KLAC 0.00%โ , and PepsiCo PEP 0.00%โ . The first two are part of our dividend portfolio. PepsiCo was recently removed from the portfolio in anticipation of a lower dividend โ which has now been confirmed.
A notable highlight: four Dividend Heroes raised their dividends for 2025. In addition to KLA Corp and PepsiCo, the list includes Tetra Tech TTEC 0.00%โ and Chesapeake Utilities CPK 0.00%โ .
The largest dividend increase came from Pitney Bowes, with a +40% hike. PBI 0.00%โ already did a dividend hike in Q1 from 5 cents to 6 cents and now hikes again to 7 cents. This brings the 2025 dividend hike to 40%.
A lesser-known gem: ESAB ESAB 0.00%โ , a peer of Lincoln Electric LECO 0.00%โ in the welding sector, boosted its dividend by 25%. ESAB has only been paying dividends for a few years but has raised its payout by at least 20% annually since inception.
Tetra Tech TTEC 0.00%โ , a Dividend Hero and previously a Focus Stock on dividendhike.com, delivered another solid double-digit increase: +12.1%, reaching a new record of $0.045 per quarter. TTEC has now increased its dividend 11 years in a row.
There was also a special dividend: Main Street Capital MAIN 0.00%โ , which pays a monthly dividend, announced an additional $0.30 payout โ the same as in Q1. In addition, its regular dividend will rise by 2%.
On the downside, three dividend cuts were announced:
Pangaea Logistics halves its dividend.
Chemours slashes by 65%.
Krispy Kreme suspends its dividend entirely.
